A pair of officials who oversaw the Didion Milling plant are heading to prison for covering-up after their plant blew-up back in 2017.
A judge yesterday sentenced Didion’s VP of Operations Derrick Clark, and the company’s former food safety superintendent Shawn Mesner to two years in prison. Both men were found guilty of falsifying records and lying to investigators about the explosion that killed five people at the mill in Cambria. The company itself pleaded guilty back in September to falsifying records, and agreed to pay a one million-dollar fine and over 10 million-dollars to the families of the workers who were killed.
