Senator Tammy Baldwin yesterday asked HSHS and Prevea to not close its hospitals and clinics in and around Eau Claire this spring. Baldwin says she doesn’t want patients to be left without healthcare options. She said she expects HSHS to ‘consider in good faith’ any offers to buy Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and St. Joseph’s in Chippewa Falls.
