The Markesan Police Department is investigating a retail theft that occurred at Piggly Wiggly and Citgo in Markesan on the afternoon of 01/18/2024. The suspects were in a black Nissan Titan crew cab with no cover or cap. The suspects entered the above businesses and stole a significant amount of liquor. This was accomplished by one of the suspects distracting the clerk and the other removing the liquor from packaging, placing in a bag and leaving the store.
