Marc Schneider, 58 years of age, from Eleva, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
On January 18th at approximately 8:01 AM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle on Hwy 10 east of Eleva for a seat belt violation. Upon contact with the driver the Trooper detected indicators of impairment. Standard field sobriety tests were completed and the driver was transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary test of his blood. Mr. Schneider was arrested for OWI 5th offense and also cited for operating after revocation, failure to install an ignition interlock device, and failure to fasten seatbelt.
