A grant totaling 150-million dollars will be given to UW-Madison for a five-year Alzheimer’s and dementia study.
This is the largest grant given to the Universities by the National Institutes of Health in its history. Money will go toward analyzing biological markers in people with denmentia or are at risk. Two-thousand people across the nation will participate in the UW-Madison-led study.
