WI DNR Looking for Bear Den Information

Those who find black bear dens in Wisconsin are being encouraged to report them.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says they’re looking for GPS coordinates and photos of the dens from a safe distance. They say all dens are worth reporting, but especially those in Northern Wisconsin counties. This will be the third year in a row the Wisconsin DNR is counting and studying black bear populations in the state.
