“Hot For Chancellor” Beer Unveiled

There’s now a beer in honor of UW-La Crosse’s former porn star chancellor.

La Crosse’s 608 Brewing Company this week announced its ‘Hot For Chancellor’ beer. The can features a cartoon drawing of now-former UW-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow running, with his graduation robe falling-off, while carrying a basket of fruit. Gow was fired as chancellor after the porn movies he made with his wife came to light about two weeks ago. 608 says the beer is a sour ale fruited with cherries, apricots, peaches and vanilla. The new beer goes on sale today at 608’s brewery in La Crosse.
