Law enforcement agencies are intensifying efforts to promote safe driving for the ongoing “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign.
The National Road and Safety Foundation says there’s a concerning spike in car accidents leading to serious injuries or deaths during the final weeks of the year. Wisconsin police officers say they will be actively looking for signs of impairment on the road and urging others to do the same. The campaign is encouraging individuals to plan ahead by using public transportation or rideshare services.
