Times Square is expected to be packed this weekend as people from all over the world come to celebrate the New Year in New York City. Organizer Joe Papa says this is a bucket list event.
There will be hours of entertainment on New Year’s Eve including Flo Rida, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla and many others performing. There will be designated view areas for revelers to arrive to in the afternoon. Mayor Eric Adams will be on hand to send the colorful ball made of crystal triangles down a poll to bring in 2024.
Organizer Jeff Strauss says despite the division in the world, everyone is on the same page on New Year’s Eve.
