Kirk Bangstad is now looking to keep former President Trump off the Wisconsin ballot.
Bangstad, who is the owner of the Minocqua Brewing Company and its political action committee, says he plans to file a 14th Amendment challenge to disqualify Trump from running for office in Wisconsin. Bangstad is an outspoken progressive, and has filed several sweeping political lawsuits over the past year including a challenge to the state’s school choice programs. Bangstand’s request will come just days after Michigan’s Supreme Court rejected a similar 14th Amendment challenge there.
Bandstand yesterday said he hopes to get his claim all the way to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
