A Washington County man is looking at charges after the sheriff says he pretended to be a deputy to try and get naked pictures from a local woman.
The real sheriff’s office got a tip about 35-year-old Daniel Anderson after investigators said he allegedly told the woman he could make some criminal charges disappear if she’d send him naked pictures and or have sex with him. Anderson is really a tow truck driver who police say found the woman after he towed her car. He’s also accused of trying to pull the same scam on another woman by pretending to be her husband’s divorce attorney. Prosecutors are moving ahead with a pair of felony charges in the case.
