Two ten-year-old Wisconsin boys were killed in what investigators call a “horrific” rollover crash following a police pursuit.
It happened shortly before midnight Wednesday in a Milwaukee suburb. A Waukesha County sheriff’s deputy tried to stop a speeding vehicle that didn’t have any license plates. Investigators say the driver stopped briefly then sped off. Two deputies chased the vehicle a short distance before it crashed and rolled over. Six people, two adults and four children were in the vehicle.
The 29-year-old driver’s two ten-year-old sons were pronounced dead at the scene while he, his six-year-old daughter and 14-year-old niece are hospitalized in critical condition. The driver’s 29-year-old girlfriend is hospitalized in stable condition. The sheriff’s office said the driver had a warrant out for his arrest.
