Jessica Schoen, environmental professional and current member of the Eau Claire City Council, has filed her candidacy for the District 1 seat on the Eau Claire City Council. She filed her Declaration of Candidacy and Nomination Papers to be on the ballot for the April 2nd spring election.
Jessica graduated from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a degree in Water Resources in 2017. Since graduating, Jessica has worked in various areas of the environmental sector. She has been an advocate for safe drinking water throughout her career. In a prior role as the Water Quality Specialist for Dunn County, she assisted in launching a private well testing program and was the facilitator of a farmer-led watershed protection group. Jessica now works for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources as an Environmental Enforcement Specialist.
