There will be a public memorial for Oshkosh’s police therapy dog later this month.

The city’s police department yesterday said there will be a service for Magic on December 12th.  Magic had to be put down after doctors discovered cancer surrounding her heart last weekend.  She served with the Oshkosh PD for almost two years as a therapy and support dog.  Oshkosh Police are accepting donations in lieu of flowers to honor Magic’s time with the department.
