Coach Everett Sarauer says the team had to come-up with an idea, build a prototype, pitch it to experts, a lawyer, and finally a panel of judges, all within 48 hours. The team, named Boards ‘n Bots, beat out five other regional teams at the Stout competition. In addition to the two thousand-dollars in prize money, each student won a thousand dollar scholarship.
