Greendale High School’s marching band spent its Thanksgiving marching in New York City.

The band was the only one from Wisconsin to march in this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. NBC’s Hoda Kotb gave them the shoutout during the parade, mentioning that Greendale’s band is 19-time state champs. Band director Tom Reifenberg said before the parade that it was an honor to be invited to march on Thanksgiving day.
