The sheriff in Green County says there is no doubt that an armed robbery suspect killed himself last week.
The sheriff’s office on Friday said body cam footage shows the 49-year-old Janesville man shoot himself after police cornered him. The man was wanted for an armed robbery at the Dollar General in the Village of Orfordville early Tuesday afternoon.
The sheriff says that footage shows the suspect briefly point a gun at officers, before turning the gun on himself.
