The Wisconsin Senate has approved taxpayer funding for American Family Field renovations.
It passed on a 19-14 vote, as well as a companion bill to fund the improvements. The bill will return to the Assembly for concurrence, where Speaker Robin Vos says it will be approved. Afterward, the bill will be sent to Governor Tony Evers, who has expressed support for the bill. The bill asks for 375-point-four million dollars from the state, 67-point-5 million each from Milwaukee County and the city of Milwaukee and 150-point-seven million from the Brewers.
