Habitat for Humanity Plans New Project

Habitat for Humanity marked Veterans Day with a tour of homes for homeless vets.

Volunteers are getting ready to turn the Grace Lutheran school near the courthouse into an apartment complex for Eau Claire’s homeless veterans/ On Saturday, Habitat offered a tour of the school and showed-off the plans. The plan is for there to be 11 apartments in the former school, and Habitat will turn the school’s basement into a community center.
