Letter carriers in Milwaukee don’t want to see anymore robberies or killings.
The postal workers’ union held a rally yesterday to demand the Post Office do more to protect mailmen while they are on the job. Milwaukee has seen a spike in mail thefts, armed robberies of postmen, and even a mailman murdered this year. The letter carriers say they feel as if they are now targets. The rally comes just as the Post Office gears-up for its busiest season of the year.
