Firefighters in Racine were able to save most of a nearly 800 thousand-dollar boat that caught fire over the weekend.
Crews say they had to rush below deck on the 47-foot sailboat yesterday morning in order to put out the fire. No one is saying just what caused the fire, but no one was hurt. Firefighters say the damage was contained to the cockpit, but there was smoke damage in other areas as well. The boat is a 2022 Dufour 470 sailboat, worth about 815 thousand-dollars.
