On November 1st , 2023 at 12:29pm the Barron County 911 Center received a call of a grain bin accident, with a subject trapped inside just south of Barron. Deputies from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department along with the Barron Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance, Barron County First Responders and Life Link
Helicopter all responded to the scene.
Lifesaving measures were conducted by deputies and continued with Mayo Ambulance and Life Link but efforts were unsuccessful. A 58 yr. old male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
