The university yesterday said more students earned their degrees than ever before last year, and they did it quicker than ever. UW-Madison says its four-year graduation rate jumped to 75-point-five percent last year, and the six-year graduation rate jumped to 89-point-3 percent. UW officials say they handed-out over 12 thousand degrees last year, it’s the first time Madison’s campus has ever done that.
