Investigators say the man shot at a Germantown middle school had no connection to the school at all.
The state’s Department of Justice yesterday said the man shot and killed by Germantown Police Monday night was driving a car with out of state plates, and simply broke down near the school. The DOJ is not identifying the man, or saying where he came from. Investigators say the man tried to get into Kennedy Middle School, but the doors were locked. Police say he was removing handicapped parking signs when officers arrived. He then climbed on to the roof of the school, fired at officers, and was shot and killed.
