A woman is dead after a crash in Anson.
The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, Anson Fire and Rescue, and the Chippewa County Coroner’s Office responded to a single vehicle crash. Witnesses observed the vehicle traveling in the immediate area, alone, at a high rate of speed. Evidence at the scene indicates that the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve when it left the roadway and struck a large oak tree. Life saving attempts were made immediately on 21 year old Brianna Luree Beck, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. The incident remains under investigation.
