Armed and Shirtless Man Arrested at the State Capitol

A man is in custody after police say he went armed to the Wisconsin State Capitol twice and demanded to see the governor.

Capitol Police say the man known as Taco showed up Wednesday afternoon with no shirt, a handgun, which is against the law at the Capitol, and demanded to see Governor Tony Evers. He was arrested, taken to jail, bailed out, and returned after the Capitol closed for the day, armed with a semi-automatic rifle, again demanding to see the governor.

The man’s been arrested again, and is now hospitalized for evaluation.
