A judge in Madison will hear arguments today about whether Wisconsin’s Assembly Speaker needs to share the names of the former supreme court justices who he’s speaking with about impeachment.
The liberal group American Oversight sued Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, claiming his decision to look for advice from former supreme court justices on the possible impeachment of Justice Janet Protasiewicz violates the state’s open meetings laws. Vos said he’s looking for advice from the former justices on how to possibly move forward with an impeachment, but nothing’s been decided. The hearing is scheduled for 8:30 this morning.
