Republican legislators are introducing two new bills that would ban gender-transitioning medical treatment for minors.
The lawmakers say children shouldn’t be able to make life-changing choices since the human brain isn’t fully developed until the age of 25. The proposed bills would ban medical practices that would change a minor’s body outside of their biological sex.
