It was a small tornado that touched down in Green County Monday evening.
The National Weather Service yesterday confirmed that an EFU tornado touched down near Belleville just after 6 p.m. Forecasters say the tornado was on the ground for just about 10 to 20 seconds. EFU stands for unknown, because forecasters aren’t sure about the wind speeds. The Weather Service says there are no reports of any damage and no reports of any injuries.
