National Registration Form Scrapped

Wisconsin can no longer use a national voter registration form.

A judge earlier this week said the form asks for information not required by state law, while at the same time not asking for information required by state law. One of the issues is that the national form asks voters about their race. The judge’s order only impacts voter registration going forward. No one who registered with the national form in the past will be removed from Wisconsin’s voter rolls.
