Excessive heat continues in Wisconsin today after several cities reached 100 degrees yesterday.
Milwaukee, Baraboo, Montello, and Reedsburg all crossed the threshold. Many of those cities haven’t reached 100 degrees in over ten years. Last night, Madison set a new record for the warmest low temperature with 78 degrees. Milwaukee set a record high at 101 degrees. Cooling centers are open across the state due to the dangerous heat.
