Milwaukee’s mayor says he doesn’t want to see another weekend like the city just had.
Milwaukee Police say 24 people were shot between Friday night and Sunday night, three people were killed. The shootings include one that left nine people wounded, and another that left four people wounded. Mayor Cavalier Johnson yesterday said he is insisting that the criminal justice system ‘fully prosecute and punish’ the people responsible for the weekend shootings. Police say they have a suspect in custody for the shooting that left nine people wounded.
