Corian D. Pitchford, 37 years of age, from Chicago, IL has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with three children in the vehicle under the age of 16.
On Saturday, August 19 at approximately 1:32 AM, A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper made contact with a vehicle as a result of a driving complaint in which the vehicle was observed being all over the road, traveling at various speed and ultimately left the roadway while attempting to exit Interstate 94 at exit 28.
The Trooper observed that the driver, Corian Pitchford showed signs of impairment. A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety testing, showed that Mr. Pitchford was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. He was subsequently arrested and charged with operating while under the influence of a restricted controlled substance while having children in the vehicle. Mr. Pitchford was transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary test of his blood and then to the St. Croix County Jail. The children, ages 17, 16, and 12 were left in the care of an adult family member.
