The Elections Commission last night deadlocked over whether elections administrator Meagan Wolfe should appear before state senators. The Republican-controlled Senate wants to remove Wolfe as elections administrator, and the planned Senate hearing could be a first step toward that goal. Last night Democratic commissioners said Wolfe shouldn’t go. Wolfe said she feels like she’s in a no-win situation, but didn’t say whether she will appear before the Senate if asked.
