BadgerSAFE App Walks Home With You

UW-Madison police have a new app that lets a friend walk virtually with you on your way home.

The ‘Friend Walk’ feature is just one piece of the new BadgerSAFE Safety App, Campus police say the app can also call police with just one click, and can quickly alert friends and family members if there is an emergency on campus. That feature is called ‘I’m OK’ and sends automated messages if there is an emergency or a dangerous situation on campus. The app is free, and available now.
