A Waupaca County man will spend the rest of his life in prison for killing his girlfriend’s 18-year-old son over stolen reptiles.
A judge on Friday sentenced William Zelenski to 35 years to life for Ryelee Manente’s murder back in 2020. Police say Zelenski shot the teenager over 17 thousand-dollars worth of reptiles and weapons. The teen’s mom is serving 23 years in prison for her role in the crime. Zelinski is 47-years-old right now, he’d be 82 if he’s allowed to leave prison after 35 years.
