The Northern Wisconsin State Fair in Chippewa Falls set a record for attendance this year. Fair manager Rusty Volk says just over 121-thousand people walked through gates last week. Volk had hoped for 125-thousand people at the fair, but says he’ll take this year’s crowd with a smile on his face. Volk says two sold-out concerts this year helped boost attendance numbers.
