You will need to hurry if you want to get a glimpse of — or, more to the point, a whiff of — Milwaukee’s corpse flower.

The stinky flower at the Mitchell Park Domes is blooming, and Domes’ managers say today will be the only day for people to see it in all of its glory. The flower stinks like rotting flesh, and that is its main attraction. Milwaukee hasn’t seen one of its corpse flowers bloom since 2021. This flower is expected to stay open, and smelly, for 24 to 36 hours.
