The Wisconsin Department of Health Services said in a news release Friday that the 988 Wisconsin Lifeline received nearly 92-thousand contacts in the past year. Nearly 80-percent of those contacts were phone calls, and the rest were either text messages or online chats. Sunday marks one year since the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline became the three-digit phone number 988.
