The DNR says fireworks started Monday’s small fire at Devil’s Lake State Park.
Firefighters say the fire burned about three-quarters of an acre before they were able to put it out. No one is saying who set off the fireworks that started the fire. There are no reports of any injuries. Firefighters are reminding everyone of fire danger this month. Sauk County was under a fire risk warning at the time of Monday’s fire.
