Homicide – Update
The Eau Claire Police Department has been investigating a homicide which occurred on September 17, 2022, near the intersection of Bergen Avenue and Bellevue Avenue. Based on this investigation, a warrant was issued for Kemone T. Golden (DOB 07/06/1996) on November 11th, 2022. Investigators have been working with the United States Marshals Service (USMS) to locate him.
On July 6th, 2023 Golden was taken into custody in Bellwood, IL by the USMS Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on the warrant.
The warrant issued for Golden included the following charges:
-1st Degree Intentional Homicide As a Party to a Crime – 940.01(1)(a)
-2 counts of 1st-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety As a Party to a Crime; Use of a Dangerous Weapon –
941.30(1)
-Discharging a Firearm From a Vehicle as a Party to a Crime – 941.20(3)(a)2
