Eau Claire Transit Rolls Out Altoona Plan

 There are plans in the works to bring more bus stops to Altoona.

Eau Claire transit managers say they want to expand the schedule in Altoona. Currently the 17 bus goes from the downtown transfer station, to Woodman’s, to downtown Altoona, and back . The plan, according to transit officials, is to add a stop at the Hillcrest Estates mobile home park, and another at River Prairie Park. The hope is to add the stops in January.
