Warning on WI Waters

There’s a warning for folks headed to the lake, particularly in northeastern Wisconsin.

The state’s Department of Natural Resources over the weekend issued several warnings about high e coli levels at several different lakes. That includes Fisher Park and Hika Park Bay Beaches along Lake Michigan, as well as Black Wolf Boat Landing, Lake Poygan Boat Landing, and Fresh Air Park in Winnebago County which were all under advisories for rising bacteria numbers. DNR says people should check their local water quality before heading out.
