The RCU Foundation’s Rock the Riverfront Classic Rock Hunt sponsored by Market & Johnson ended on the evening of Wednesday, June 21.
Amber Borofka and her family from Eau Claire found the rock hiding near a bush in University Park near the Eau Claire Area School District Admin building on Grand Avenue. The stay-at-home mom enjoyed adding this adventure to her week and even took her 4 kids and husband along to hunt for the rock. The family hopes to use the money for a family adventure so they can all enjoy the reward.
In addition to the Classic Rock Hunt a Youth Rock Hunt held in earlier In June this year. This scavenger hunt created an opportunity for kids and families to get out and explore their communities. There was a small rock hidden in 8 different Royal Credit Union (Royal) communities. The children that found the rocks received a Royal Credit Union Piggy Bank and $50 cash!
