The Wisconsin Assembly is approving a measure aimed at changing the way liquor regulations are handled across the state.
AB 304 passed with broad support in a 90 to four vote yesterday. The bill would create a statewide bartending license, establish a new division in the Department of Revenue to enforce alcohol sales rules, and require wedding barns to obtain a permit or license in order to serve. Governor Evers is expected to sign the bill into law if it is approved by the state Senate.
