UWEC Names New Athletic Director

UWEC Names New Athletic Director

Jason Verdugo is the new athletic director at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The school introduced him yesterday. Verdugo was previously the AD and baseball coach at Hamline University in Minnesota. He replaces Dan Schumacher, who retired at the end of spring semester. Verdugo says his goal is to eventually become a top 10 Learfield cup school.
