Eau Claire’s city council has approved the plan that could change how trash is picked-up.
Council members last night approved a new ordinance that they hope will modernize garbage collection. Part of the hope is to see less frequent recycling pick-up, and fewer garbage trucks on the roads. It is a process. Even though the new ordinance passed last night, it will be next year before any changes could begin.
