McDonell Area Catholic Schools Announce New Principals

McDonell Area Catholic Schools President Molly Bushman is honored to announce the expansion of the MACS team with the addition of two new principals, both well known to the MACS community. Mrs. Jamie Dodge will be the new principal of St. Charles Preschool and Primary School (grades 3K-2) while Mrs. Gwen Doyle will be the new principal of Holy Ghost Elementary School (grades 3-5). Due to growth in enrollment, the position previously held by the departing principal will now be filled by two new leaders.

Mrs. Jamie Dodge was most recently a MACS first grade teacher and, previously, Early Childhood Center Director. Jamie has earned her masters in education with an emphasis in special education, and is a candidate for principal licensure through Viterbo University. “I am very excited and honored to be offered the Principal position at St. Charles Preschool and Primary School,” said Mrs. Dodge. “I look forward to continuing to learn and grow in this leadership role at MACS. I love this system, the staff, the students, and the families very much. Education is a huge part of my life and who I am. I feel incredibly blessed that God has brought me to MACS and has continued to guide me to grow here.”

Mrs. Gwen Doyle, previously an English teacher, was most recently the Notre Dame Middle School religion teacher and a school leader on the MACS Catholic Mission Team. Gwen has ample leadership experience as a former Director of Religious Education at a local parish, and is pursuing principal licensure through Viterbo University. Mrs. Doyle stated “My experience and time with the exceptional middle school team has inspired me to broaden and deepen the mission of McDonell Area Catholic Schools with the families, students, and staff at Holy Ghost, ultimately helping all of us live and serve in the Spirit of Jesus Christ.”
