Downed Power Line Closes HWY 97


A downed power line closed the highway in Wausau overnight.

Wis-DOT says a power line fell and closed Highway 97 in both directors near Stratford. The lines went down about 3 a.m. No one is saying just what took the lines down. Crews said it would take a few hours to get everything back open and repaired.
