It’s another sign of warmer days to come. Altoona opened its splash pad yesterday.
Parks and Recreation managers say the pad River Prairie Park will be open from noon til 6 p.m. each day. The water feature in Eau Claire’s Haymarket Plaza is also open. The water there is on from 10 a.m. til 11 p.m. each day.
